The RF 24MM F1.4L VCM sits in the L-series Pro Lenses range as part of Canon’s new hybrid lens lineup, designed for both wide-angle stills and video including architecture, interiors and landscapes plus immersive storytelling.

Keep on shooting when light levels drop thanks to an f/1.4 aperture for a bright image as well as great depth-of-field control. A rear filter holder plus 67mm filter ring at the front gives optimal creative freedom, while the prime lens design renders your subject sharply.

Enjoy superb image quality thanks to an aspheric element and two UD lenses with Super Spectra, SWC and ASC coatings. A fast Nano USM combined with even faster Voice Coil Motor (VCM²) technology delivers fast and precise focusing for both stills and video.

Iris Ring

Use the Iris Ring when shooting video for manual aperture control and enjoy a smoother, silent operation between stops.

VCM (Voice Coil Motor)

Because of the lens’ larger internal elements a VCM can move them faster, allowing spontaneous moments to be captured and smooth focus transitions to be achieved when filming.

Lens Function Button (AF Stop Button)

The customisable Lens Function Button works by default as an AF stop button which temporarily pauses AF during Servo AF.
